CARMEL, IND. -- Phired Up Productions announced today that Meghan Ward-Bopp will join its team of recruitment experts beginning June 1, 2010. Meghan will deliver education, coaching, and innovative products and services to Phired Up's sorority partners and other clients as Director of Women's Education. She joins a division pioneered by Jessica Gendron who moves to the position of Vice President, Women's Division.
"Words cannot express how excited I am to have Meghan as a part of our team," said Gendron. "She is going to add so much depth, knowledge and experience to the Women's Division and to the company."
Meghan will spend the next few months transitioning from her role at the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). Peter Smithhisler, President and CEO of the NIC said about Meghan, "I am grateful for Meghan’s talent and commitment as a staff member. She has certainly advanced the fraternal movement in her tenure. I wish her only the best and success in her new role."
Ward-Bopp is a long-time advocate of the fraternity and sorority community. She has worked with students all across the United States doing educational programming for the NIC and CAMPUSPEAK. She's an energetic presenter, volunteering for many national organizations including her own, Alpha Chi Omega, in the areas of recruitment, risk management, leadership and standards board education. Meghan has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ball State University. She now lives in Indianapolis.
Phired Up is experiencing a dramatic demand for women's recruitment educational products and services. The company understands that sororities and other women's organizations recruit differently than men's groups, and is proud to offer specialized products and services for fraternities, sororities and other membership organizations.
Gendron added, "Bringing Meghan on as the Director of Women's Education will allow Phired Up to greatly enhance the products and services that we provide to our partners, women's organizations, and women in general. We are headed in a great direction and Meghan is absolutely going to be a huge part of how we get there."
"It's the right time for Phired Up to bring on another sorority recruitment expert and Meghan is the right person for that role," said Matt Mattson, President and co-founder of Phired Up. "Her experience, her recruitment philosophy, and her natural ability to be socially excellent made Meghan the obvious choice for the next addition to the Phired Up family."
